(Emergent Literacy in First and Second Language Acquisition)

at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

When children engage with bilingual stories, content-based songs and chants, and meaningful literacy activities, they strengthen phonemic and phonological awareness, oral language development, vocabulary, concept knowledge, and comprehension

in two languages!
